I was going to write a post today on the
Select Committee Report, but, I've had such a snottygrotty headache for the most of the day that I haven't actually managed to read all of it yet! I have
read looked at ('read' would probably imply far higher levels of attention and concentration than I have managed to achieve!) a number of
comments and
commentaries on it, mostly from some of
those other blogs that have become invaluable in helping me to make sense these past few months, of the huge amount of political information that my brain has been trying (and mostly failing) to decipher! I am really grateful to the people who put their time into
posts like these. I follow a number of blogs, most of which have some home education connection. But while
some have admirably given their blogs over almost entirely to the political situation,
others have continued to share their day-to-day home ed experience with an equally admirable 'business as usual' attitude.
So I'm
celebrating some* of those ones too, the ones that remind us of what it is we are fighting to protect, by continuing to put it out there for all to see and share. From the ones which are written by
people I know, to those
charmingly sweet and at times disarmingly honest ones, the ones whose
pictures speak a thousand words of the joys of parenting, the ones whose circumstances are
similar to my own to some degree, and of course the
just plain brilliant ones :)
*
by no means a comprehensive list of all good home-ed blogs out there, feel free to slate me or add your own if I've missed you off! ;0)
